Why Gurukul

A school is a place where the teachers and the students get together for teaching and learning and then they disperse back home. A Gurukula is a place where the teachers and the students live together with an objective and activities of teaching, learning and evolving under the teacher's guidance up to a certain ( 12 years ) period.

1) Why Free Gurukula Education?

The Aims, Goals and Objectives of the Gurukula are of the highest order.

It needs Involvement Assistance from Team members, Well Wishers, Society and Good Wishes from Elders and on top of all, Blessings from the All Mighty God. To get all the above the service of the Gurukula must be Selfless and Service oriented. Then alone there is a scope and hope to achieve the Goal. Hence the Gurukula education must be Free.

2) What is the Difference between School and Gurukula?

3) What is Samskara or Charector building?

Samskara or Character building is the means for Purification.

" Samskara " is not a thing which can be got or bought and given as an object. It is a " value "in terms of Charector which gets developed in a person due to subjecting the person to the advice or imposition of specific activities to drop the impurity and gain purity to become a well-cultured person. The best example is the Milk. In summer times milk gets spoiled if not taken care of. When it is subjected to heat cream is formed. From the cream later butter and finally ghee is formed. This Ghee will stay and be usable for a long duration.

Here subjecting the milk to heat process is the Samskara part imposed on the milk to get a pure product of Ghee usable for a long time.

4) What is personality?

A personality is not mainly focused on the outer appearance of a person. Along with the appearance (physical), it involves how a person expresses feelings, opinions and behaviour ( Emotional ), how he determines, and manages himself, with others and lives ( Mental ), and how he works out his goals and plans ( intellectual ), and finally, how one treats and deals with things, lives, nature, world and all the living and non-living things ( Spiritual ).

The expressions and reactions coming out from these factors and their overall influence upon the person reflecting in his talks, thinking deeds and actions make up the personality of the person.

5) What is Fundamental Education? Developments.

The term Education, in general, has wide interpretations. Whereas the fundamental Education has the core and sole purpose, meaning and application.

Core and sole purpose: To know and evolve oneself (SELF) is the Core and Its Power branches under " Physical, emotional, mental, intellectual and Spiritual " are the sole purpose.

Meaning :

To train a person's External Working organs (Hand, legs, mouth, excretory and procreating organs). External Sence Organs (Eyes, ears, tongue, nose and skin). Internal sense organs (mind, intellect, ego, memory).

Application :

To interact with external Nature and World through our Outer organs, external and internal senses and finally to realise the internal and external Self.

For its basic implementation, we have capsuled the world under History, Geography and Environment, Nature and its Principles under Science and Math and finally to express and communicate we have languages.

All the above narrowed down to Schools, colleges, training centres, universities etc. in a broader sense under Gurukulas.
